Financial Accounting is an advanced-level course designed to provide accounting technician students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in the preparation, presentation, interpretation, and analysis of financial statements in accordance with accepted accounting principles and professional standards.
The course emphasizes accounting procedures, preparation of final accounts, accounting for assets and liabilities, partnership and company accounts, correction of errors, financial statement analysis, and professional examination techniques. Students will develop the technical competencies required for professional accounting technician examinations and workplace accounting responsibilities.
The course combines theoretical understanding with extensive practical problem-solving and case-based learning to strengthen examination readiness and professional competence.
