This course provides a comprehensive foundation in Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) designed for the specific landscape of Ethiopia’s "Ten-Year Development Plan" and the requirements of major international donors (USAID, EU, World Bank). Participants will move beyond simple data collection to mastering the Logical Framework Approach, Theory of Change, and Performance Indicators. The course emphasizes the practical use of data to inform decision-making, ensure accountability, and maximize project impact within local community contexts.
Educational Background: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Statistics, Economics, Development Studies, or a related field.
Professional Experience: Ideally 1–2 years of experience in project management, social work, or administrative roles.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry and basic formulas) is essential. Familiarity with statistical software like SPSS or Stata is a significant advantage for advanced modules.
